The Psychology of Money
By Morgan Housel
Join us for the first in a series of book and journal clubs. It will be an experiment of sorts.
Cynthia and I will be hosting the first CHEMA system-wide book club. This will be a pot luck event.
You donβt have to read the book, you can look at outlines online like here:
or even watch a YouTube video:
YouTube The Psychology of Money summary
The goals are to learn from, with, and about each other while we build more community and live more fulfilling lives.
This book is particularly clear at what money is, why we treat it the way we do, and the tradeoffs between different approaches to managing your money over the span of your life. It does not tell you what to do to βget rich,β instead it focuses on why you may feel that you need to use money in certain ways.
We can take ownership of our futures and try to ensure our wellness, and we can share our differences so that we may learn from each other.
